Welcome to the Simoodle Creator Program

Simoodle is a platform where Africans teach Africans through real-life experiences, practical knowledge, and culturally relevant insights.
By joining the Creator Program, you become part of a growing ecosystem helping:
  • Early-career professionals
  • Young entrepreneurs
  • African talent across the continent
  • African diaspora communities
These Terms explain how Simoodle works, how you earn, and what we expect from you.

1. Definitions

  • “Simpletin Consulting” refers to the company operating Simoodle
  • “Simoodle” refers to the learning platform
  • “Creator” refers to you (individual or company contributing content)

2. What You Can Do as a Creator

As a Simoodle Creator, you can:
  • Create and publish courses
  • Share real-life experiences and lessons
  • Help others grow professionally or entrepreneurially
  • Build your personal brand
  • Earn income from your content

3. Revenue & Earnings

3.1 Revenue Split

  • 35% — Creator
  • 65% — Simpletin Consulting

 

3.2 Earnings Visibility

You will have access to a creator dashboard, where you can track:
  • Course sales
  • Earnings per course
  • Available balance
  • Payment history

3.3 Payments

  • Payouts are request-based (you choose when to withdraw)
  • Minimum payout: $25 (or local equivalent)
  • Payments are processed within 7–14 business days.

3.4 Long-Term Earnings

You continue earning:
✅ Even if you leave Simpletin
✅ As an external creator
✅ As long as your course remains on Simoodle

4. Course Creation Framework

All courses should follow the Simoodle 5-Step Framework:
  1. Problem – What challenge did you face?
  2. Context – Situational / African / diaspora perspective
  3. Story – What actually happened
  4. Lesson – What you learned
  5. Action Steps – What others can do immediately

5. Content Standards

Your content must:
  • Be original and based on real experience
  • Be practical and actionable
  • Be structured and clear
  • Include at least 5–7 lessons
  • Meet basic audio/video quality standards

6. Platform Rights

By publishing on Simoodle:
  • Simpletin Consulting may host, distribute, promote, and sell your course
  • We may edit or improve your content for clarity and quality
  • We may use excerpts for marketing purposes

6.1 Content Exclusivity

To maintain platform value:
  • Courses should not be duplicated or republished in the same form elsewhere
  • You may create similar content elsewhere, but not the same course without approval

7. Platform Control

Simpletin Consulting retains full control over:
  • Course pricing
  • Promotions and discounts
  • Course visibility and placement
  • Marketing and distribution

8. Creator Responsibilities

As a Creator, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate and truthful content
  • Respect intellectual property laws
  • Avoid sharing confidential information
  • Maintain professional conduct

9. Content Review & Approval

Simoodle may:
  • Review course submissions
  • Request edits
  • Approve or reject content
  • Update or improve courses

10. Content Changes & Removal

Simpletin Consulting may:
  • Remove or suspend courses
  • Update content
  • Take action to maintain quality and relevance
This may occur due to:
  • Quality issues
  • Policy violations
  • Legal or brand concerns

11. Creator Conduct

Creators represent Simoodle and are expected to:
  • Act professionally
  • Maintain respectful communication
  • Align with Simoodle’s values
We may take action if conduct harms the platform or community.

12. Independent Relationship

Creators are independent contributors.
  • No employment relationship is created
  • No employment benefits apply
  • Creators are responsible for their own taxes and obligations

13. Legal Responsibility

Creators are responsible for their content, including:
  • Ensuring originality
  • Avoiding copyrighted content without permission
  • Avoiding misleading or harmful claims
Creators agree to take responsibility for any legal issues arising from their content.

14. Updates to Terms

Simoodle may update these Terms as the platform evolves.
  • Updates will be communicated
  • Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated Terms

15. Agreement

By joining the Simoodle Creator Program, you confirm:
✅ You understand how the platform works
✅ You agree to these Creator Terms
✅ Your content complies with these guidelines
✅ You are ready to contribute as a creator
